Procore Mastery Path

Develop comprehensive construction project management skills in Procore, from project setup and document control through RFIs, submittals, and financial management. Designed for trade contractors and GC project teams managing mid-to-large commercial projects.

01

Procore Fundamentals and Navigation

Understand Procore's project hierarchy, tool layout, and permission structure. Complete the foundational Procore University courses to build fluency in the interface before touching live projects.

02

Project Setup and Directory Management

Create a project, configure the directory with all stakeholders, and assign roles and permissions. Set up custom fields and project stages to match your company's workflows.

03

Document Control: Drawings, Specs, and Files

Upload and manage the drawing set, link specifications, and control document revisions so all stakeholders work from current information. Learn how to use markups and issue drawings from the field.

04

RFIs, Submittals, and Correspondence

Create, route, and close RFIs and submittals on the correct workflow so nothing falls through the cracks. Use the correspondence tool to keep all project communication logged and traceable.

05

Field Operations: Daily Logs, Inspections, and Punch Lists

Use daily logs to document labor, equipment, and weather, run quality inspections from the mobile app, and manage punch list items through to closeout. Capture photos and link them to the right location on the drawings.

06

Financial Management: Budget, Contracts, and Change Orders

Set up the project budget, execute subcontracts, and process change events through to owner change orders while maintaining a live cost-to-complete view. Understand commitment workflows for trade contractors billing to a GC.
