Privacy policy
This policy describes what TradeAtlas (a product of Pandotic AI, Incorporated, a California corporation) collects when you use tradeatlas.us, and how that information is used.
What we collect
TradeAtlas is built to minimize what we collect. Today, the site records:
- Newsletter signups — when you subscribe to “The Job Site” in the footer, we store your email address. Nothing else is collected with it.
- Valuation “notify me” signups — on the ownership valuation page, if you ask to be notified when new data is ready, we store your email address and the trade you selected.
- Admin authentication — TradeAtlas staff (admin, editor, and moderator roles) sign in to manage content. This uses authentication cookies and is not something public visitors are subject to.
We do not run any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts on this site at this time.
Where we surface local training programs and workforce resources using the U.S. Department of Labor's CareerOneStop API, your ZIP code is sent to that API to fetch results but the resulting location data is never stored on our servers.
How we use it
Email addresses collected above are used solely to send the content you signed up for (the newsletter, or a one-time notification). We do not sell or share this information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your rights
We are based in California, and California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion of that information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — which is straightforward here, because we do not sell or share personal information with third parties. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below and we'll respond directly. If you're outside California and a different privacy framework applies to you (for example the EU/UK GDPR), contact us and we'll work through the request in good faith; we'll expand this section with jurisdiction-specific detail as our footprint grows.
