A property designation: the homeowner submits photos, IBHS reviews them, an evaluator inspects in person, and IBHS audits the file. Essential covers ember protection; Enhanced adds flame and radiant-heat protection. Available in 14 states as of IBHS's April 2026 release. The FAQ does not name a contractor role or public roster.
