Founded in 1886 and headquartered in Itasca, Illinois, the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) is a trade association representing roofing contractors and industry professionals across all segments of the roofing industry. NRCA develops widely referenced technical standards and guidance on roof system design and installation, most notably through The NRCA Roofing Manual. It delivers education and workforce training programs (including TRAC, CERTA, and the Future Executives Institute) and operates PROCertification, an installer certification program for the roofing workforce. The association also advances industry advocacy through efforts such as ROOFPAC and Roofing Day in D.C., and publishes Professional Roofing magazine.
