ABC

Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) is a national trade association established in 1950, when seven contractors gathered in Baltimore on the shared belief that construction projects should be awarded on merit to the most qualified, responsible bidders. ABC represents more than 23,000 members across 67 chapters, spanning all specialties within the U.S. construction industry, primarily in the industrial and commercial sectors. Its merit shop philosophy is based on nondiscrimination due to labor affiliation and the awarding of contracts through open, competitive bidding based on safety, quality, and value. ABC helps members develop their workforce, win work, and deliver it safely, ethically, and profitably through advocacy, craft training, apprenticeship, and safety programs.
