Associated General Contractors of America
The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) is one of the oldest and largest national construction trade associations in the United States, founded in 1918 and headquartered in Arlington, Virginia. It represents more than 27,000 member firms, including general contractors, specialty contractors, and service providers and suppliers, organized through a network of chartered chapters nationwide. AGC advocates for the construction industry before government and the public, and develops standard contract documents widely used across commercial construction.
